This is simple and easy side dish. As butter burns quicker than the oil, so butter added with olive oil gives a smoke point much higher than that of butter. Butter is added for flavor and oil to keep the butter from smoking.
500gms Green Beans
8-10 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 cup Baby Spinach (chopped)
1/2 tsp Red Chili Flakes
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
1 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Olive Oil
Salt to taste
- Boil green beans in salted water. Drain it and keep aside.
- Heat olive oil and butter in the wok. Add garlic, sesame seeds and chili flakes to it.
- Add green beans to it and saute for few minutes.
- Add baby spinach to beans along with salt and cook for few seconds.
- Serve hot.
