Fish Soup
The soup is simple, nutritive and perfect for a formal dinner.

Ingredients:
3 lb Mixed fish (cleaned)
2 Onions (chopped)
6 Potatoes (chopped)
2 Bay Leaves
1tsp Dried Thyme
1tsp Parsley
3tbsp Butter
2tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
2 Slices of crusty French bread
Directions:
  1. Cut fish into chunks of equal size.
  2. Heat butter in the pan and saute onions and garlic.
  3. Add potatoes, water, bay leaves, thyme, parsley, salt and pepper.
  4. Fry for 2 minutes and then add fish and lower heat to moderate.
  5. Cook for about 25 minutes until fish and potatoes are tender.
  6. Remove and discard bay leaves.
  7. Put soup in the soup plate and put slices of french bread on it.
  8. Serve hot.
